Mercedes-Benz CLC-Class
In early 2008, the Mercedes-Benz do Brazil plant in Juiz de Fora began manufacturing the new CLC-Class. In April 2007, the plant commenced producing the predecessor of the Mercedes-Benz CLC, the C-Class sports coupe. Since then, it has been the only plant to manufacture this class within the Mercedes-Benz production network. The plant builds the CLC-Class primarily for the European market. Until January 2007, the plant in the state of Minas Gerais was producing the C-Class for the North American market. Before that, from 1999 to 2005, the A-Class was produced at the plant.
