Invitations
The dispatch of the extraordinary shareholders` meeting invitation documents will begin early March. Due to the number of mailings several days will be required.
Shareholders who will be recorded in the share register between February 27, 2008 and March 25, 2008 will receive their invitations by means of two supplemental dispatches in the second half of March.
You did not receive an invitation to the Shareholders` Meeting?The stock was purchased after the dispatch date for letters of invitation or the postal service was unable to deliver the invitation.
Our service provider Registrar Services GmbH or the Bank of New York Mellon can send you a letter of invitation or an admission ticket if you wish.

If the personal / custodian bank has not arranged for the stockholder to be recorded in the share register, Daimler cannot send invitations to the shareholder, but will provide the bank/broker with sets of documents for the shareholders. In case the shareholder has not received any invitation documents, the stockholder should refer to his personal / custodian bank.
Your personal / custodian bank has probably entered you in the share register more than once. Perhaps you hold your shares with several banks.
If you wish to reduce your entries in the share register (which would lead to less invitation mailings) please contact the Daimler Shareholder Service or the Bank of New York, which are responsible for administering the share register and let us know
