Noise abatement

DaimlerChrysler has set itself the aim of reducing as far as possible the burden of noise on its employees and on the neighbors of its production locations. In the planning of new facilities, the Group’s noise abatement scheme ensures that noise is either prevented from arising at all or at least kept to a minimum. At the production sites, sound sources and levels are closely monitored for the strategic prevention of noise emission. This is effected for example by the installation of sound-absorbing elements and noise abatement walls.
