Management development
At Daimler, the evaluation, development and promotion of managers is carried out via a uniform process at all levels of the company worldwide: the Leadership, Evaluation and Development Process, or LEAD for short. LEAD was the first human resources development tool in which the new company core values were integrated as components of the evaluation process. They are used as a frame of reference and benchmark for the evaluation and development of the Group’s managers.
