Fair competition behavior
DaimlerChrysler’s policy on antitrust issues is stipulated in its Integrity Code on page 20. Here it is stated that the company is “committed to complying fully with all applicable antitrust and trade laws and the related laws pertaining to fair pricing, fair competition and consumer protection.” It is further stated that these laws regulate “DaimlerChrysler’s relations with its competitors, suppliers, dealers, distributors and customers. They generally prohibit agreements and other activities that fix or coordinate prices or price formulas, divide up sales territories or customers, or unreasonably restrict free and open competition.” Employees who have questions about these laws are asked to contact the legal department.
